This last month has been a difficult one on many levels- I have gone into more detail in regard to this in a post that I am an hour or so away from finishing- but in the meantime I was acutely aware of the fact that I have not posted on my site for an absolute age and wanted to at least say 'hi'!
I currently sit here in a stinky, Olbas Oil and Vicks Vapour Rub drenched pile of pain and poorliness, as I sip at my Lemsip for my annoying cold and swallow down the antibiotics for the infections that have ruled me for the past month.
Sadly there is no such ointment for the spirit or soul, that is also somewhat below par of late- but thankfully I have the love and physical presence of my family to help me through this emotional blip, along with my physical setback of late in terms of new spinal pain. Thankfully I see the consultant tomorrow to receive the results of my MRI scan, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before I return to my usual level of health and pain.
Setbacks happen, but I think that my family and I never really anticipated being sent back to a place this far back in my recovery and we have subsequently all been a bit shocked and rocked by the whole situation.
We will get through this as my physical pain has already improved- and as it was the setback in my physical state that consequently lead to the decreased state of my mental health - I am confident that an improvement in this area will duly follow shortly.
My best wishes to you all. I pledge to get myself back on track and posting regularly asap.
In the meantime have a wonderful St Valentine's Day whatever your relationship status maybe. Being the 6th anniversary of my husband and I's first date, (I know, who on earth goes on a first date on Valentine's Day!)- we will be celebrating with a glass of vino or two and hopefully a tasty meal of some description!
Thank you again so much for your patience and increased activity on the website despite my decreased
activity on it.
I really do hope to speak to you soon.
Wishing you all happiness and good health.
